Local employee of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs blown up in occupied Svatove
On September 2, an acting deputy head of the juvenile affairs department of the city department of the Russian Interior Ministry, Yevheniy Usenko, was killed in occupied Svatove in the Luhansk region, Trybun reported, referencing local pro-Russian media.
Reportedly, 33-year-old Usenko was appointed deputy head of the department in 2024.
According to preliminary data, unknown persons planted an improvised explosive device in Usenko’s car. Local propaganda blames the murder on “Ukrainian saboteurs”.
Ukrainian services did not comment on the death of the “police captain” in the Luhansk “republic”.
This is not the first assassination attempt in the occupied part of the Luhansk region since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Trybun noted.
